F.A.Q.

Common questions about VPS, dedicated servers and Korea hosting.

A

SSD VPS offers stable performance and is a cost-effective solution for general use. NVMe VPS, on the other hand, has significantly faster I/O capability, enabling quicker data processing speeds.

If your service requires high performance—such as high-traffic websites, database-intensive applications, or streaming services—we recommend choosing an NVMe VPS.

A

Kdatacenter’s Dedicated Servers are located in a Seoul Internet Data Center (IDC) in South Korea.

A

By leveraging the geographical advantages of our Korean IDC, we provide low-latency connectivity to major Asian regions, including China, Japan, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.

Through SK Broadband’s international network, we deliver stable and consistent global traffic performance—including traffic to China—at a more competitive cost compared to CN2.

We provide high-quality network connectivity optimized for Asian regions, including China, to ensure stable and reliable performance.

A

We support both Linux and Windows operating systems.

Available distributions include Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, and Windows Server.

A

It is based on the larger value between the total inbound (Total In) and total outbound (Total Out) traffic during the service usage period. Go to the service account you want to check on the left side of your dashboard, and you will find the "Bandwidth usage graphs" menu on the left.

A

If the contracted traffic is exceeded by 110%, the speed is restricted. The server speed will slow down. If the contracted traffic is exceeded by 120%, the service will be suspended.

If you want to resolve the restriction, please request an additional traffic invoice via a ticket. It costs $30 per 1TB and is only valid for that month. Alternatively, request an invoice to reset your service period and traffic via a ticket. Alternatively, you may upgrade your monthly bandwidth allocation for larger traffic requirements.

A

Yes, server configurations can be customized to meet your business requirements, including CPU, RAM, storage (SSD/HDD), and bandwidth.

A

All dedicated servers are equipped with IPMI (a remote management port), allowing you to remotely manage your server.

This includes performing OS installations, rebooting the server, and troubleshooting at the physical server level.

A
